Miss Wilson, Teacher of the Week, By Rosie, Catherine and Zoe

Miss Wilson
Today we have a new teacher of the week. This teacher is….MISS WILSON! We asked her a few questions and here are her answers:
1) How long have you been a teacher?
I think it’s about 9 years.
2) What’s it like to have Poppy going to the same school?
She loves it! I sometimes love it and I sometimes hate it. It depends on Poppy’s mood in the morning!
3) What year group do you prefer having?
Year 4 and 5. I wouldn’t stand a chance in KS1.
4) When you were younger, did you want to be a teacher when you were older?
Well, there are lots of teachers in my family so teaching was probably in my blood. However, it also made me realise what a demarnding job it is, as my mum used to disappear every evening to mark piles of books. It wasn’t until I was in my thirties after several years of dreadfully boring desk jobs that I realized that teaching was what I wanted to do. Ten years later, I still enjoy it.
